Difference Makers in Different Spaces

The short of it…

Cancer Research UK were looking for a way to fundraise in the gaming space. They’d previously tried different content formats with internet creators of different sizes, but couldn’t find a format that worked the way they’d hoped.

I approached them with a clever twist on a classic format and wildly exceeded their expectations, opening the Bobby Moore Fund to a whole new audience and raising money in the process.

How We Did It

  1. Contacting CRUK

    I consulted with Cancer Research UK about what they wanted to achieve and the difficulties they were having when engaging in the gaming space.

  2. Organising the Studio

    Collaborating with my friends at Blackpool’s #1 marketing agency Jelly Media, we were able to secure a top-quality studio space to shoot live content

  3. Writing the content

    Generated content for the event including timings, securing talent and insertion of promotional content.

  4. Generating Assets

    Created not only brand-friendly assets for the live content, but also for promotional content in the the lead up to the event

  5. Performing content

    Performed the content live to hundreds of thousands of global viewers over multiple platforms
